Making a Perfect Wedding DJ Playlist

Making a Perfect Wedding DJ Playlist!

There are a lot of ways to make your wedding DJ playlist perfect! The best place to start would be in the hearts and minds of your guests. Notice I didn't say in the bride and groom's hearts and minds. Although it is incredibly important that you as the newlyweds are entirely happy with the music being played at your wedding, it is more important that the majority of your guests enjoy the wedding songs being played at your wedding, especially at the reception.

As you build your wedding music playlist, you need to make sure you keep your friends and family at the forefront of your mind. If you are a huge country music fan, but the majority of our guests like standard party music, you will most likely be dancing all by yourself! There are some excellent ways to build your favorite styles and artists into your wedding day, but the worst place to do this is during your open dancing time. You can enjoy your favorite style of tunes during your dinner mix, or even during the cocktail hour if you're within earshot.

When it comes to your event music, feel free to personalize away! Usually during your grand entrance, first dance, bouquet and garter toss, cake cutting, etc. people are simply watching you and hopefully smiling widely! As long as the music fits with the event that is happening, you can play just about anything. So pick your favorite non-danceable songs and place them within your wedding dj playlist in these different wedding events.

As you peruse this website, be sure to check out all the playlists available to you. These songs are the best of the best in each category and I will be adding more and more over the months to come! Just remember to pick the songs for your wedding DJ playlist from your guests hearts first, then from yours.
